Music on the Lawn
In the warm season months, the Journey's End Restaurant hosts a series of musician events on the lawn on Friday evenings. Past acts include Laura Beth and the Clover Hollow Boys, Earth Mama, Casey Hash and Larry Paluzzi among others. Check the News for the upcoming schedule as plans are made.

Meet the Authors
In September, the Journey's End Restaurant invites local authors and authors with books relating to the area or its people in some way, to have a book signing during Sunday Brunch. Local authors including Scottie Pritchard with "Under a Blue Bowl" and Douglas Butler with "A Walk Atop America". Authors with books pertaining to the local area and local movements such as "Grazing Along the Crooked Road", "Southwest Virginia Crossroads" and "Nothings Too Small to Make a Difference" have taken part in book signings at the Inn as well.

Artists in the Parlor
In the winter artists are invited to perform or show in the parlor on evenings that the Journey's End Restaurant is open. There is a nice piano in the parlor. Previous artists have been local musicians Steve and Penny Kilby and Mary Hines and furniture maker Richard Weigand and glass artist Vanessa Wright among others.
